What does Zero Meridian Health mean?
The word meridian means “middle” Geographically speaking, the Greenwich Meridian is an imaginary line that divides the Earth into the Western and Eastern Hemispheres. This imaginary line of geographic reference allows us to speak of the existence of a Western and an Eastern world. Similarly, medical practice seems to be divided into “Western medicine” and “Eastern medicine” Just as each of the Earth”s Western and Eastern hemispheres has its own characteristics, Western and Eastern medical practices are also distinguished by their approach. Western medicine tends to focus on diagnosing and treating
illnesses based on the patient”s symptoms while Eastern medicine assesses symptoms based on their relationship to the whole person.
After several years of practicing Western medicine, I decided to introduce myself to Eastern medicine which allowed me to analyze the advantages of both medical practices and the benefits of combining conventional medicine with different alternatives for the treatment of numerous conditions.
In my research, I discovered a widely practiced form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) called homeopathy. While homeopathic medicine is
considered a Western form of CAM, it also possesses characteristics of Eastern medicine due to its holistic orientation, but its fundamental principles and specific practices are distinct. Its unique, effective, and neutral approach inspired me to name my website “Zero Meridian” health.

What is Homeopathy?
Conventional medicine considers “pathology” or disease as the result of a modification in the anatomy and functioning of an organ or system. Homeopathy does not consider the disease as a defined pathology, but rather treats the person suffering from a disease as a whole (mind, emotion and body) taking into account individual characteristics.
